Match.com has released a brand new advert all about the exciting yet nerve-racking moment of saying: “I met someone”.
The ad is the first partnership between Match.com and campaign creator SS+K and seeks to capture the special moment where people tell their friends and family members they have met someone.
The new campaign aims to highlight the “moments when people decide that their dates have turned into a relationship: a coffee with friends, a morning call with a parent, even ice cream with your kids. If it’s serious enough to tell friends and family, you know you’ve found something real.”
And with the launch of the new campaign, and in-keeping with Match.com’s focus on building long-term relationships, the company is now offering singles an “I met someone” guarantee.
The new offer states that if users don’t find someone special within six months, Match.com will give them another six months for free.

Speaking about the TV spot, Brad Kay, President of New York-based SS+K said: “They came to us looking for a new way to engage a potential audience and demonstrate their difference in a way that felt real and authentic.”
Released for November, the 30 second spot will be running on TV in the US.
