New reports are emerging that the Match Group are in discussions with regarding a potential strategic investment. is an Indian matrimony and matchmaking platform.

Sources with knowledge of the discussions have told The Economic Times that the two brands have had multiple discussions and are in the final stage of the deal. The exact financial details are still being finalised, sources share.

Both and Match Group have not commented on this story.

This move by the Match Group could be a result of the company’s restructuring, after it appointed Malgosia Green, who was previously serving as CEO of Plenty of Fish, the head of Match Group Asia.

In this role, Green is responsible for Match Group’s products in the region and responsible for growth in Asian markets. The company has platforms specifically for Latino, Black, and older communities, meaning an India-focused site would expand its current offerings.
