Meet Positives has announced that it will be adding video dating to its online platform to help people continue to date during the COVID-19 lockdown.
As one of the online dating industry’s leading platforms for STD-positive singles, it has become the latest service to offer some form of video feature for its members.
The face-to-face interactions can be very beneficial for singles who are isolating by themselves and are missing the feeling of going on a first date.
Owner of Meet Positives Jack Lombardi said in a statement: “Meet Positives offers an alternative to dating and a second chance for positive people who live with STD.
“Our goal is to help impacted people feel normal again in a relationship. We help positive singles avoid the embarrassment and possible rejection by telling a potential mate about their condition. Our members join because they want to find and date others who have experienced the same struggles.”
At the end of last year, Meet Positives added a section on its website for LGBTQ users for the first time, offering advice for people looking for a same-sex partner.
