Muslim marriage app Muzz has raised over $100,000 in a donation initiative for emergency relief in Turkey, following recent earthquakes. Muzz promised that 100% of donations will be matched by the app until it reached its $100,000 goal.
The platform is working with Muslim Aid to support survivors in Turkey after a devastating series of earthquakes hit the country last week. Muzz shared that money raised will help hundreds of families get support with food, hygiene, and shelter.
Individuals can support the initiative with a number of giving levels available. The highest level is a donation of $1,500, which is enough to build a temporary home for a struggling family. Donating this sum will also get you a 1 on 1 lunch with Muzz CEO Shahzad Younas.
Muzz has taken on a number of charitable projects in the past including building a school in Pakistan, a bakery at a refugee camp in East Sudan, and mobile clinics in Palestine.
