Zaboo was founded last year and already has over 25,000 users – it even managed to rank above Tinder and Bumble on the App Store on New Year’s Day last month.
Founder Ben Lambert said: “We don’t know how to talk about sex and it is often this problem that drives upset in a relationship or for a single person. We want to inspire people to think differently, relax when it comes to the topic of sex and gain more confidence and balance in their life as a result.”
Zaboo users can create a profile to discover and read various content, and also ask and answer questions.
Authors offer practical advice in the form of articles to the users, under titles such as ‘How to feel confident during sex?’ and ‘How to avoid scammers on dating sites’.
There is also an online forum for any unanswered questions that users may have.
Zaboo is free for users. Lambert raised around £300,000 to improve his apps with a variety of quizzes and games to be featured.
Zaboo also makes its money by promoting the products and events included by working with different brands, and may even bring out a subscription box.
Lambert added: “In 5 years we want to be the leading platform helping people on their individual sexual journey. Hopefully Zaboo can help you be educated, have confidence, find products and events you want to find – anything that can make embracing your sexual journey more of a reality!”
