OkCupid Updates Quickmatch To Highlight Users’ Important Characteristics

OkCupid has launched an updated version of its Tinder-style mobile swiping system Quickmatch for the new year.

The new version of Quickmatch is designed to show off “who you are beyond a photo”, by pulling key characteristics to the front of your profile card.

This could be anything from your political leanings to you being a vegetarian, or that you own dogs, and the details appear just below your photo grid.

As OkCupid said in a blog post announcing the changes: “It just makes sense: authentic connections are made over the things you care about, not how you look in a selfie.

“This makes for better connections, which means better relationships. And if you want more, the depth of the OkCupid user profile is just a tap away.

In addition to this, the company has also added a new navigation bar at the bottom of the app that lets you keep your favourite features and important notifications visible at all times.

With this update, OkCupid has also consolidated notifications for your likes and visitors into one section.

Check out the new changes on iOS and Android.
