Plenty Of Fish’s CEO Malgosia Green has published a LinkedIn post to outline how the company is helping the local COVID-19 relief effort in Vancouver.
Firstly, it is donating advertising space across its platform, as well as developing creative assets to fill those spaces, to charities that are doing crucial work during the pandemic.
This includes food banks, education services and Ad Council, a non-profit organisation that promotes public announcements to raise awareness and inspire action.
Plenty Of Fish is also donating $10,000 to Battered Women’s Support Services (BWSS), a Vancouver-based organisation that provides education, advocacy and support to women in need.
BWSS has extended its crisis helpline support to 24/7, to help those who are being forced to co-quarantine with abusive partners.
Furthermore, Plenty Of Fish has confirmed that it will match another $10,000 that gets raised by other businesses and individuals.
