Plenty of Fish’s New Spark Feature Helps Users Start Conversations

Plenty of Fish has just launched a new conversation-orientated feature called Spark.

The new product update lets users quickly start conversations on the platform.

Singles can now quote and comment on any content – whether photos or profile information – simply by picking up and dragging a new conversation icon over any area of someone’s profile.

Speaking about the feature, Plenty of Fish CEO Hesam Hosseini said: “With more conversations than any other dating app, Plenty of Fish is focused on bringing conversation back to singles.

“In the short time we’ve been testing Spark, we’ve seen a 15 percent increase in conversations.

“Given our scale, this can result in an increase of hundreds of thousands of conversations happening every day on the app, leading to more dates and more relationships – and it is just our first step to bring the art of conversation back to dating.”

With the launch of its new feature, the Match Group-owned company released the findings of a study into conversation and relationships, called Conversation Nation.

The report surveyed 2,000 single US participants about their outlook on both online and offline conversations.
