Stefano Brizzi, the man who killed and dismembered a London police officer, has died in prison.
Brizzi, 59, admitted dismembering London officer Gordon Semple at his South London flat when high on crystal meth, after the two met on Grindr for a night of drug-fuelled sex.
The 50-year-old web developer, who previously worked for Morgan Stanley, argued in court that he accidentally strangled the 59-year-old officer during a sex game gone wrong.
An Old Bailey jury found him guilty of murder, however, and Brizzi was handed a life sentence and ordered to serve a minimum of 24 years in jail on 12th December, 2016.
And it has now been revealed that the 59-year-old has been found dead in his cell at Belmarsh Prison.
