Positive Plus One Announces New App Updates

HIV dating app Positive Plus One, has today revealed the launch of its new and updated platform.

The updates include a colour rebranding, switching from pink to blue following user feedback, and an events feature, allowing members to search and explore virtual events that they can take part in.

It’s hoped that users will be able to find matches on the app to attend these special virtual events with.

Positive Plus One has also launched a double verification process on the app, which now includes email verification as well as SMS.

Christian Mercer, CEO and Founder of Positive Plus One, said in a statement: “Positive Plus One was created to provide an inclusive environment for the HIV community, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion or sexuality. I’m delighted to launch our updated app, especially in a time when communication is key. 

“Our mission is to connect our members in a safe environment and with this new version, I believe we can do this on a much larger scale. We are constantly looking for ways to develop our app, and I’m excited to see where Positive Plus One will be in the future.”

Mercer appeared on The GDI Podcast in October to discuss the first launch, funding rounds and the future expansion plans.
