Bumble has launched the second wave of its ‘Find Them On Bumble’ marketing campaign, this time targeting Indian users across Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.
The new iteration is only focused on the app’s ‘Bizz’ networking mode. Over 25 inspiring women, including Bumble investor Priyanka Chopra Jonas, have been spotlighted for involvement.
The idea behind the movement is to showcase the wide variety and quality of potential matches that can be made, and emphasise how using the app can aid the advancement of a user’s career.
Each featured woman has an in-depth profile showing their work experience, accompanied by colourful images. Their stories are being shared across a range of advertising materials.
Posters are being put up in various outdoor locations, such as billboards and bus shelters, and the imagery is also being shared via print media.
Bumble CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd said on exchange 4 media: “Our goal at Bumble is to create an inclusive and empowering experience for people to connect, and now that we’re expanding globally, we’re seeing our mission resonates across many cultures. Find Them on Bumble Bizz.
“Each of these dynamic women have continually led by example, proudly claimed their place in the spotlight, while helping set the stage for future generations of women.”
The first campaign was released in New York City last October. The multi-million dollar marketing push featured 112 “inspirational” users from all three Bumble modes.
Their images were displayed in the individuals’ local neighbourhoods, and minute-long interviews were uploaded to a specially created Instagram page.
Over one million Indian members have signed up to the female-first social app since it was first launched in the country at the end of 2018.
