Second Series of Tinder’s ‘Swipe Night’ Coming in November

Tinder has announced that ‘Swipe Night’, its popular choose-your-own-adventure show, will return for a second season.

It is set to feature a completely new storyline and cast of characters, with users making a series of decisions to decide who they think committed a crime. Each viewer will have a unique experience and see different plot twists based on the choices they make.

A total of three episodes are going to air in November, likely on Sunday evenings. At the end of each episode, users can be paired with other Swipe Night participants to talk about the story and try to solve the mystery together.

Tinder CEO Jim Lanzone said in a statement: “Swipe Night paved the way for social entertainment experiences on Tinder, which have become an incredibly popular way for members to match and interact with new connections.

“We can’t wait for people to experience this new storyline, a mystery that will certainly give them a lot to talk about as they work together to figure out who did it.”

The first season was viewed by over 20 million people and led to a 26% increase in matches compared to a typical Sunday night.

Swipe Night will be part of Tinder’s new ‘Explore’ section which was revealed last month. This included an array of new features which present users with extra ways to connect with the community and engage with content.

The second season of Swipe Night was due to be released in the summer of 2020, but the pandemic delayed production indefinitely.
