Temptr Releases Two New Discovery Features

UK dating app Temptr has released two new features to help singles stand out more and increase their chances of connecting with nearby users.

Launched back in October last year, Temptr is live in over 40 countries worldwide and growing well in the UK, USA, Australia, India and the UAE.

The app builds on the standard swiping functionality made famous by Tinder, letting singles exchange photos with their matches and broadcast their location using its “check-in” feature.

And now, the app has released two new features, the first of which is Tempts, a product update that lets singles ensure their profile stands out from the crowd, by pushing it to the front of another user’s set of profiles.

The tool, which works in a similar way to Tinder’s Super Like, can be bought by users of Tempt as one-off purchase in groups of 5, 10 or 20, rather than being packaged into a subscription offering.

As well as Tempts, the app has also brought in a Happn-style Walked-by feature, which lets users see who they have passed in real life.

Speaking about the new update, the founder & CEO of Temptr Jack Knowles said: “We continually want to disrupt the market.

“Our aim remains to be the biggest of our kind, kept very simple and easy to use with all functionality needed.

“People like to know that someone finds them special and we believe this update will lead to even better connections”.
