The League Now Available in Seven New Cities
The League has gone live in seven new locations, including its second and third Canadian cities.
Eligible singles in Vancouver and Montreal can now use the invite-only dating app to find other users in their area.
Over 3,000 people applied to be on the Vancouver wait list, but only 500 were selected to be part of the city’s ‘Founding Class’.
Toronto, London and Paris are the only other cities that The League has been launched in outside of the US, as it slowly rolls out into global markets.
It is also now available in Las Vegas, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Richmond and New Orleans, taking its total number of locations across the US up to 39.
The new areas were announced via a low-key post on The League’s Instagram page, a contrast to the extravagant Parisian launch last month.
There, 70 new users were invited on a cruise along the River Seine for a week of activities, parties and dating games.
The League hosts a number of trips to try and get singles interacting in the real world, and there could be a Vancouver one in the works.
Meredith Davis, The League’s Head of Communications, told The Province: “We just went on a trip to Paris with 70 of our users for an entire week. We did a trip in Vail to go skiing, and I know there are plenty of Vancouver users already asking for a Banff ski trip.”
