The Meet Group Enters Partnership With Personal Safety App UrSafe
The Meet Group has announced a new partnership with personal safety app UrSafe, to help its global community of singles date as safely as possible.
Every person who uses one of The Meet Group’s products, including MeetMe, GROWLr and LOVOO, will be eligible to receive a 60-day free subscription. They will be prompted in-app to download UrSafe which presents them with different methods of staying safe while on offline dates.
The product is available in six languages and allows users to share their live location with family and friends, as well send voice-activated SOS alerts to local law enforcement agencies.

Dr Anthony Oyogoa, UrSafe’s co-founder and CEO, said in a statement: “UrSafe’s first and only goal is to provide cutting-edge, global safety technology that respects user privacy to the masses all day, every day, that doesn’t monetize user data.
“We couldn’t be more proud to make this relationship with The Meet Group official and take the standard for international dating safety to the next level.
“UrSafe’s global coverage complements The Meet Group’s international reach, ensuring our entrance into the dating space is with a company that makes a real commitment to user safety worldwide, and we couldn’t have matched with a better partner.”
The Meet Group and UrSafe are hosting a public webinar on 10th July to discuss how singles can stay safe in the new dating landscape. Dr Oyogoa and Geoff Cook will be joined by Spectrum Lab’s CEO Justin Davis and Real Me’s CEO Jeff Tinsley.
