The Meet Group Releases Special Virtual Gifts for Charity Partnership

The Meet Group has partnered with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) as a part of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Users of Skout, MeetMe and Tagged will be able to purchase special edition virtual gifts to send to each other on the platform. The Meet Group have pledged to make a donation for every one of the gifts that are exchanged, up to a value of $10,000.

This campaign is in direct relation with ALSF’s Travel for Care programme, which contributes to the travel costs of families who need to move with their children for treatment.

Catherine Connelly, co-founder of The Meet Group and VP of Brand Strategy said on My Social Good News:  “Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children under the age of 15 in the United States. Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is an amazing organization that helps many children in need.

“Their Travel for Care Program offers immediate assistance to families who must travel for treatment. I believe our members will embrace ALSF and their mission.”

The special edition gifts will be available between 7th and 21st September.

The Meet Group recently created limited edition virtual gifts to help provide clean water to those in need, as part of a partnership with Ryan’s Well Foundation.
