Tinder Releases Limited Edition T-Shirts
Tinder has teamed up with clothing brand Stradivarius to create a special Valentine’s Day range of t-shirts.
The Barcelona-based fashion company released the the three tops on the 4th February in its European markets. They will cost £15.99 in the UK, or €12.99 in mainland Europe.
The simplistic designs feature the dating app’s logo and accompanying text on either a black or white base, making them easy to pair with any style.
Slogans include: “I’m Your Right Swipe” and “You Looked Taller on Tinder”.
One shirt also reads “Love Me Tinder” which the Stradivarius website says is: “For the romantics, for the meticulous, for the brave, who book a table at their favourite restaurant for the first date, for those who stay up all night to carry on talking and, most of all, for those who are sure that they’ll end up meeting their perfect match.”
The move to turn dating apps into a fashion statement suggests that most of the stigma surrounding online dating has been lifted. Now singles can find common ground with one another by showing love for one of their favourite platforms.
Hinge launched a line of Valentine’s Day cards aimed at millennials to encourage them to commit to exclusive relationships.
Tinder’s former Country Manager for Germany Lennart Schirmer was recently promoted to Regional Director of Europe.
