TrulyMadly Introduces Quarterly ‘Dating Leave’ For Employees
TrulyMadly has introduced a new ‘Dating Leave’ scheme, which entitles all employees to take paid holidays so they can spend times going on quality dates.
The India-based dating app, formed in 2014, has introduced the leave where every employee can accumulate one day of dating leave per quarter, making a total of four dating leaves annually.
This leave is applicable for all employees irrespective of whether they are dating via the TrulyMadly app, other platforms, or in a long-term relationship.
Snehil Khanor, Founder and CEO of TrulyMadly, told the Economic Times: “There are no terms and conditions as such for availing these dating leaves, employees can apply it on our HR software just like any other leaves.”
The company has already introduced a ‘Happiness Time-Off’, where employees can take leave on special occasions, such as their birthday, a family member’s birthday, or their wedding anniversary.
Women also have the opportunity to take ten days of ‘period leave’ annually, which they can take once per menstrual cycle.
This news comes months after TrulyMadly raised $1.1 million in a recent pre-Series A funding round.
