Bumble is expanding its board of advisors and announced yesterday that Yael Cohen Braun will be joining the company as a senior advisor.
Cohen Braun is the founder and CEO of FCancer, a cancer charity that focuses on early detection and hosts fundraising events targeted at millennials. She also started Motherlucker, an online community where new mothers can go to find support and advice.
As part of the partnership Bumble has acquired all of Motherlucker’s assets.
Cohen Braun will be working to grow Bumble’s three platforms, as well as helping to finalise brand partnerships and continue business growth in general.

Speaking to Forbes, Cohen Braun said: “I will provide strategic counsel across a range of business priorities, including community building and brand partnerships — two areas of expertise from my work with FCancer and Motherlucker.
“Bumble is an unbelievable company and brand with so much potential to connect with users. They are not only participating in so many spaces, but they are also innovating new forms of relationship-building spaces.”
She continued on to say that her experience specifically in content creation and community building will mean she can contribute to Bumble’s growth and help the company achieve its goals.
Bumble recently announced another high profile partner when it revealed actress Priyanka Chopra will be highly influential in the app’s upcoming launch in India.
