Tinder and Hinge Rank Among UK’s Highest-Grossing Apps

Despite all the talk about dating app fatigue, Tinder and Hinge are still among the UK’s highest-grossing mobile apps. According to current rankings from AppBrain, Tinder ranks seventh and Hinge ninth among all non-game apps on Google Play. Both sit in the top ten alongside Google One, TikTok, ChatGPT, Spotify and Disney+.

Dating apps remain a major mobile spending category. Tinder and Hinge also hold the top two positions among dating apps on Google Play in the UK. Bumble ranks third.

The picture is similar on Apple’s UK App Store. Tinder and Hinge rank first and second among the highest-grossing Lifestyle apps. Bumble is third and Feeld fifth. Apple places Grindr in Social Networking, where it ranks second by grossing.

The US shows a similar pattern within dating. Tinder and Hinge also hold the top two grossing positions on Google Play. However, neither currently appears in the overall US top ten.

The industry may be struggling with engagement and payer growth, but users are still spending heavily.
