EliteSingles Introduces $499 Monthly Membership Tier

EliteSingles has introduced a new membership tier priced at $499 for one month, targeting users willing to pay more for a more selective dating experience and additional support.

Called Elite Select, the new tier is positioned around priority access, increased visibility and human concierge support. Members receive direct access to a concierge who can provide personalised assistance, along with an Elite Select badge displayed on their profiles.

The membership also includes an Elite Select Card that users can share outside the platform, including on social media. The feature gives members a way to publicly signal their participation in the premium tier.

The launch represents a high-end approach to dating-app monetisation at a time when many platforms rely on subscriptions, boosts and other features designed to increase the number of potential matches users can browse. This new incarnation of EliteSingles already has a cheaper standard monthly plan than the original, meaning that this $499 plan is very likely intended for a select set of users, rather than an expected part of its regular operations.

EliteSingles is instead emphasising selectivity and reducing the amount of time members spend searching. The company says the new tier is aimed at users who place greater importance on compatibility and the quality of potential connections than on the volume of profiles available. EliteSingles says 85% of its members are highly educated, and Elite Select is being introduced as an extension of its existing focus on professionals and users seeking more deliberate relationships.

The $499 monthly price places the offering at the upper end of consumer dating subscriptions and could provide a test of whether some users are prepared to pay substantially more for greater visibility, personalised assistance and a smaller, more curated experience.

“Our members have built full lives, careers, and clear expectations for what they want next. The challenge for them isn’t getting more choices. It’s identifying which choices are worth their time,” said John Martinuk, a spokesperson for EliteSingles. “Elite Select reflects that shift. The $499 membership creates a clearer signal of intent while giving members more direct access to people who approach dating with a similar level of purpose.”
