Last month we published the latest video in our GDI Meets series, an interview with British startup Double.
Filmed in their central London office, we speak to the double dating company about the origins of the niche app, its successful appearance on Dragons’ Den last December, and the growth the product has seen over the past 12 months.
Its founders, Loren Gould, Gary MacDonough and Ben Greenock – who spoke at GDI’s Innovation conference in London last October – told us the platform had recently hit 25,000 MAUs and was seeing an 18% week-on-week growth.
Having successfully raised funding for the dating product, the team also speak about why potentially reticent investors cannot ignore a market as thriving as online dating.
