Towards the end of 2015, white label leader Dating Factory was acquired by internet investment firm Agile Wings.
After the deal closed, there was a transitional year as the two businesses integrated together and the dating company’s top level management was restructured.
During this transition, Jenny Gonzalez was named Agile Wings’ Chief Revenue Officer, and we recently caught up with the well-known industry executive to talk about the new incarnation of the white label company.
Gonzalez also talks about how the dating consumer has become much savvier in recent years, no longer tolerating “cookie-cutter” sites and expecting more of the dating services they give their money to.
As the Agile Wings CRO says: “The full industry is moving at a way more niche level. Consumers are much more tech savvy, they are busier than ever and smarter than ever. They know exactly what they want, they know exactly how to ask for it. And I think that’s the biggest change the industry has seen.”
