TrulyMadly Gives Users Verification Ratings

trulymadly

New app TrulyMadly gives users a score based on how much information they provide about themselves.

The app matches you with other singles using a Tinder-style functionality, but you must have a certain amount of profile verification before you can be matched.

TrulyMadly uses a Trust Score, which increases with each identity verification you add.

To get a Trust Score of 30%, you need to provide your LinkedIn account information and employment history.

You can also add your phone number, Facebook account, proof of ID and your passport details to improve your score.

The app says: “Think of it as a set up by friends. They wouldn’t introduce you to random strangers on the street, right? Nor do we. From authenticating ID proofs to social profiles and employment records, we’ll find you a really ‘real’ match.”

You cannot interact with users with an unverified profile and have to meet a minimum Trust Score before you can chat with others or view their detailed profile.

You then ‘hide’ or ‘like’ people that TrulyMadly match you with.

Once you have both mutually liked each other, then you can view their full name and interact with them.

TrulyMadly is currently available on Android and being released for iOS in October.
