American TV show host Steve Harvey and Match Group are releasing a dating site together, called Delightful.com.
The site is tailored towards “singles focused on finding and keeping love”, and is a joint project between Harvey and IAC – owner of OkCupid, Tinder and Match.com.
Harvey is a presenter, actor and entertainer, who hosts radio show The Steve Harvey Morning Show and long-running gameshow Family Feud.
The 57-year-old said: “Everyone knows I love a good stage, and Delightful and Match create just that, my largest stage yet to help love-seekers to be delighted again by the prospect of discovering true love.”
Match previously launched another site called Delightful, which was a couples date-planning site, designed to compete with HowAboutWe’s couples service.
It shut in April, and the domain has clearly been passed on to Harvey for this site.
Match Group and Sam Yagan, who is listed as a co-founder of Delightful, hope the site can harness Harvey’s “mass appeal” to drive singles to the site.
And the talk show host – in his role as Chief Love Officer – will offer relationship and dating advice in regular columns and videos.
Sam Yagan said that with Harvey’s “unique and practical advice”, they hope to help singles “find love and keep it.”
Harvey’s “unique advice” forms part of his two relationships books, Act like a Lady, Think Like a Man – instructing women how to understand men better – and Straight Talk, No Chaser.
