Moscow Metro Launching Dating App

Crow Metro Moscow

The Moscow Metro is launching its own app to match up singles riding the subway.

Called Hello, the app will let users communicate with each other while travelling on the underground.

Singles first sign up through popular social networks like Facebook, VKontakte or Odnoklassniki, and add a profile picture and date of birth.

According to SputnikNews, Hello will then use location-based services to bring up nearby singles on your, or a nearby, carriage.

You can also bring up a general list, and initiate contact with a simple Hello, or by sending a virtual gift.

SputnikNews said thousands of Moscow citizens have already signed up for the app.

The Moscow metro has 196 stations, covering 203 miles and servicing around 8m people every day.
