Yesterday was the busiest day for online dating, according to data from top sites.
Sites like Match.com and Plenty of Fish said that the period between 6-9pm the Sunday after New Year is their peak time for dating traffic.
In fact, Match.com narrowed it down further to an exact time of 8.52pm on Sunday.
The IAC-owned site said sign ups were often 95% higher than average on Jan 4th.
Dating sites Zoosk and Plenty of Fish also backed this up, saying their sites see a spike in traffic on this day after the Christmas period.
