Bumble’s Second Quarter Earnings Report Scheduled For 11th August
Bumble has announced the publishing date for its second quarter 2021 earnings results and accompanying conference call.
The report is scheduled to be publicly released following the close of the Nasdaq market on Wednesday, 11th August and will contain all of the financial data from the three months ending 30th June.
A public conference call is taking place on the same day at 4:30pm ET to discuss the results, answer questions from investors and outline plans for the upcoming quarter. The recording of the call will be available to listen back approximately two hours after it concludes.
Bumble’s share price has climbed by around 15% since its first quarter results were published, giving it a market cap of just over $5.5 billion.
The most recent report beat internal and external analyst estimates, as total revenue for the quarter was over $170.7 million, a year-on-year increase of 43%. Diluted earnings per share came in at a profit of $1.69.
Earlier this month, the dating and social company announced that it would be opening its first permanent offline venue. The ‘Bumble Brew’ cafe and restaurant is set to start welcoming customers in New York City on 24th July, for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks services.
CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd also revealed that BFF, its active friend-finding mode, is in the process of being redesigned ahead of a relaunch. The update should make it easier for users to navigate to it in-app and help onboard them to the main dating platform.
An ‘incognito mode’ is due to be added as well, allowing women to browse the app without being seen by men. They will only become visible to the people they’ve liked.
