Chappy has been named as a leading sponsor of the UK’s first LGBTQ live gaming event, presented by Gayming Magazine.
Taking place in Soho from 30th September to 5th October, Gayming Live will host a series of activities throughout the week, such as previews of upcoming LGBTQ titles, networking parties, career advice and competitions.
There will also be a radio show which will discuss topics related to the week, as well as more information about the schedule.
Gayming Magazine Founder Robin Gray said: “We’re delighted to be hosting the Gayming Live event, which will take all the great elements of the Magazine and make them truly interactive.
“Gayming Live is designed to appeal to gamers, industry professionals and those looking for a career in games. This is a very exciting and unique event – and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone there!”
Chappy is taking over the event on Saturday, 5th October with a display called “Finding Your Player 2”. The gay dating app is presenting its new campaign that is dedicated to getting LGBTQ gamers playing together, both in real life and online.
The day will be hosted by drag queen Kitty Powers and promises to be “full of fun games and prizes”.
Two Chappy representatives will officially launch the campaign on 30th September when they appear on the Gayming Live radio broadcast.
Bumble formed the first all-female Fortnite team in August to provide opportunities for more female gamers to compete in professional esports competitions.
