DatingBuzz Denies Potentially-AI-Generated Breach
The operator of DatingBuzz, one of South Africa’s oldest and largest online dating platforms, has denied reports that its user data was breached and offered for sale on a deep web hacking forum.
Threat actors claimed to have obtained over 670,000 records containing email addresses, full names, passwords, user chats, partner preferences, and other personal details – but spokespeople for the platform have stated that the alleged data is inconsistent with how the platform actually operates.
