Dig to Speak at GDI Los Angeles 2019

Global Dating Insights is happy to announce that Dig, the dog person’s dating app, will be appearing at our Los Angeles Conference this June!

On Dig, “guys can’t pretend to be dog owners by posting pictures with other people’s dogs just to get the conversation going”. Founders Leigh and Casey Isaacson had been “duped by fake dog lovers too many times”.

Features include dedicated profile sections for dogs, information on dog-friendly date locations near you, a daily deal from dog companies, and tips from vets and trainers.

Dig launched in 2018 and has seen enthusiasm throughout the booming dog industry, in the press, and at Dig’s nationwide dog-friendly events. Featured in Forbes, Bloomberg, Cosmopolitan, Cheddar and more, the New Orleans-based platform has been a viral hit over the past 12 months.

GDI Founder Simon Corbett said: “We can’t wait to welcome Dig along to our second Los Angeles Conference this June.

“This startup has seen great early success in a passionate and growing community. They’ve got a brilliant story to tell!”

Other speakers at GDI LA 2019 include Chappy, The Meet Group, Vana Koutsomitis and Thinknum. Our sponsors this year are Google, SendBird and Censio.

The event takes place on Thursday 13th June at the stunning Shutters on the Beach Hotel, a stone’s throw from Santa Monica Pier.
