Erin & Sara Foster Join Bumble As Head of Creatives
The founder of Bumble, Whitney Wolfe, has made famous sisters Sara and Erin Foster joint heads of creative for Bumble Bizz and Bumble BFF.
The Foster sisters are behind the scripted reality-parody show Barely Famous, Sara is a TV actress best known for her role in 90210 and Erin is a writer who has recently sold a pilot to Fox.
Wolfe met the sisters at a panel event a couple of months ago and they all bonded over supporting women in their careers.
Wolfe said in a press release: “Erin and Sara are true forces of nature and have already brought so much value to our brand and our culture.
“The work we’re doing together will have such a positive impact on our overall user experience and give our brand a powerful new voice.”
Barely Famous was made to show the real truths behind the so-called fabulous lives, and Wolfe believes their honest voice will bring great success to Bumble by working on brand awareness and content as well as live events.
Erin said in a statement to BI: “There has never been a more important time to support women in business.
“Bumble Bizz is an incredible tool to identify and build connections, in order to support and empower each other.”
Gwyneth Paltrow has recently signed on for the app, and next year, Bumble is hoping to include more content on the app, more partnerships with female-run companies and more Hives.
