LinkedIn Introduces AI-Powered Tools for Promotional Content Creation

LinkedIn has rolled out several new artificial intelligence features for its advertising and promotional tools, aimed at helping marketers generate and optimize content more efficiently.

Announced on July 1 the updates include the official launch of a brand kit. This allows companies to establish guidelines for colors, fonts, logos, and brand voice. The system can then reference these rules when generating future AI-powered assets, helping maintain consistency across campaigns.

A new AI ad copy generation tool lets marketers input a URL for the advertised content, set campaign goals, and provide additional context such as references to previous successful creatives. The system then produces aligned copy suggestions.

The platform has also added ad personalization options based on user attributes like job title, company, and industry. While resembling traditional targeted marketing, the feature aims to improve relevance of promotional messages.

Additional tools include ad variants, which automatically generate multiple versions of existing ads with different headlines and introductory text. A flexible ad creation function takes user-supplied images, videos, and copy and produces various combinations for testing. As performance data becomes available, the system shifts delivery toward higher-performing creatives to optimize budget use.
