
The awards are a celebration of digital talent in the UK consumer and business magazine media.
They aim to represent the individuals, brands and publishing companies driving the industry’s ongoing digital revolution.
And here at GDI, we will be up against some of the sector’s biggest publications in the category of business media Brand of the Year.
Shortlisted in the category are the likes of Incisive Media-owned Investment Week, the B2B publication for investment news, analysis and opinion for wealth managers and the UK funds industry.
We will also be up against renowned marketing news site The Drum, and Risk.net, who write for the global finance industry about risk management.
Global Dating Insights founder Simon Corbett said: “The team and I are thrilled to be shortlisted by the PPA Digital Awards for Brand of the Year.

Last year’s winner for Digital Brand of the Year at the PPA awards was RCNi, a publication offering the latest “news, opinions, clinical practice and CPD” for the nursing profession.
Other categories on the night will see titles like Cosmopolitan, BBC Good Food and Elle vying to be named Content Team of the Year – a category The Drum is also shortlisted for.
And other awards up for grabs include Brand of the Year for consumer media, Launch of the Year, Social Media Campaign of the Year and Commercial Team of the Year.
