Incoming Gmail Limit Doubled To 50MB

Gmail

Incoming email limits on Google Mail have been increased to 50MB.

Announced by Google on its blog, the limit has been doubled from 25MB, and means users will be able to receive emails with attachments totalling 50MB.

The change will let users of Gmail receive large attachments from non-Gmail accounts.

Despite this, however, you can’t send files larger than 25MB – this will still have to be done via Google Drive.

The feature is being rolled out over the next few days, and will soon be available for all end users.
