Head of PR at Luxy Raffael Krause has been talking about the millionaire dating brand and the future of online dating in a new interview with Thrive Global.
He is also the Founder of LoveBlock, a blockchain-based dating database that works to remove fake and scam profiles from all platforms.
Luxy is an exclusive dating service with two million existing members, though only 10-15% of applicants are accepted. Krause explained the company’s next step will be to use A.I. to optimise the evaluation process and overall matching algorithm.
Furthermore, Luxy will soon be bringing in a new user verification system to filter potential new members more conveniently and consistently. This could make it easier for people to be accepted, while keeping the user base at a high quality.
Krause believes virtual reality could be widely implemented into dating in the next 20 years.
He predicts: “Virtual Dates, where all of your five senses get stimulated at once to create a true virtual reality where you actually can hold someone’s hand or steal a kiss, before you meet your date in the actual real world.”
However, he doesn’t think daters will use virtual reality to replace physical interaction.
The LoveBlock founder concluded the interview by giving advice to people who are looking to get into the online dating industry.
He stated that while it is competitive and sometimes “brutal” market, anyone with a good idea should do their best to keep up with all the latest trends and give it a go.
