New Match Group CEO Talks Friendlier Online-Dating Experiences

New Match Group CEO Mandy Ginsberg recently had an interview with MarketWatch last week to speak about friendlier online-dating experiences.

Ginsberg announced that Tinder will soon roll out a new feature which will let women choose who will make the first move on the app.

She also stated that Match Group will seek to make its platforms more female-friendly, with measures including a new OKCupid campaign which will emphasise shared hobbies over hookups.

As a new female tech CEO, Ginsberg’s aim is for women to feel empowered whilst online dating.

She said: “I’ve been here so long and we’ve talked so much about women and women’s experiences, but that should manifest itself in more than conference rooms and discussions.”

Within the interview, Ginsberg spoke about enhancing the experience for Tinder users after they have found a match, strategies for growing out of the U.S. and how they are trying to increase activity on the Match.com property with its new automated coaching tool.
