OkCupid, The League and S’More to Participate in ‘Love In Quarantine’ Panel
The Advertising Club of New York, a news and development resource for marketing professionals, is hosting a webinar to look at the current state of dating during COVID-19.
‘Love In Quarantine’ is taking place on Wednesday, 17th February at 5:30pm ET, and has a guest panel which includes OkCupid CMO Melissa Hobley, The League’s Head of Product Kunal Thadani and S’More CEO Adam Cohen-Aslatei.
The event is due to last an hour and will be moderated by Candace Smith, dating coach, lawyer and star of reality TV show Million Dollar Matchmaker.
Spaces are free but limited and all attendees will receive special Valentine’s Day surprises as well.
A statement from Advertising Club of New York explains: “Online dating has surged in popularity as stay-at-home and social distancing advice influence the way we meet and get to know potential partners.
“So, if you’re single right now, how do you get your dating fix? What new features and trends are dating apps building to keep health and wellness in mind? Join the Advertising Club as we take a look into the trends, challenges, and unlikely benefits of online dating during COVID-19.”
S’More closed its latest funding round last week and raised a total of $2.1 million. The money will be used to grow the full-time development team and increase marketing efforts ahead of expansion across the rest of the US.
It also announced that it was working on its own unscripted reality show that would be based around the S’More anti-superficial way of dating.
