ONDATING – Live Stream Dating App Launches in UK
ONDATING is a new dating platform that has just launched in the UK. The platform aims to set itself apart by offering live stream capabilities, allowing for real-time engagement and monetisation opportunities for users.
ONDATING, which is now available on the Google Play Store, provides users with the ability to “broadcast themselves to friends or the public, creating a dynamic and interactive environment for meeting new people”, it shared.
While it creates opportunities for real time interactivity, users who live stream will also be able to receive gifts and credits from viewers. These earned credits can then be exchanged for real currency, rewarding them for their engagement and interactions.
The ability “to get paid to essentially date” is one of the platform’s unique features, says marketing director Ozzy Cez.
When it comes to trust & safety, ONDATING shares that it operates a moderation system where offensive content is flagged and removed. Additionally, all live streams are recorded, to ensure inappropriate behaviour is addressed.
The evolution of live streaming and online dating saw a significant leap with the development of the Livebox streaming solution, which was once adopted by a number of platforms from Match Group and the Meet Group.
Looking ahead, ONDATING plans further expansion by making the platform accessible on the Apple App Store, as well as moving into markets outside the UK.
