Scruff has announced that a marketing communications firm, SourceCode Communications, is its new Agency of Record (AOR).
As Scruff’s AOR, SourceCode has permission to purchase advertising space and time on behalf of the gay dating app. They will also implement a marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and growth.
SourceCode is Scruff’s first AOR, beating four other agencies to the deal. The partnership was apparently formed two weeks ago.
Scruff’s COO, Todd Sowers, said in PR Week they want SourceCode to “tell a bigger story about our technology, our product offering, and our advocacy.”
Scruff was founded in 2010 and has over 12 million men on its platform. The service will hope to see this number climb even higher following the new deal.
SourcCode’s website claims the company has “an unwavering commitment to driving ROI through a unique blend of data, humanity and technology”, insinuating it is well prepared to help Scruff achieve its targets.
