Thursday Organises Ski Trip for 1000 Singles

Dating app Thursday has announced its plans to organise a ski trip for 1000 singles looking to find meaningful connections in snowy weather conditions. Over 4000 people have registered their interest already, according to George Rawlings, Co-founder & CEO of Thursday.

The event will be held in Val Thorens, France between the 15th and 22nd of April. Singles from the UK, Europe and USA are invited to attend the trip, Rawlings shares.

Some of the events scheduled in that period include chairlift speed dating, igloo raves, drinks everyday, live music lockins, and more.

The skip trip will be an expansion on Thursday’s regular services, where they organise exclusive events every Thursday across London and New York. Encouraging singles to meet and connect in-person suits the app’s self-proclaimed status as “The offline dating app”.

In-person events across the online dating sector are on the rise as we enter 2023. Feeld recently held its first event in Austin, Texas while Muzz hosted an event in Chicago dubbed “the biggest muslim marriage event”.
