Tiffany Haddish to Give Dating Advice on Bumble Live Video

American actress Tiffany Haddish will be helping Bumble users give their dating profiles a revamp to end some of their dating misfortunes.

The Girls Trip star will have her own profile card on Bumble Date that will direct singles to her top dating tips if they swipe right. A limited number of people will also get the chance to have an in-app one-to-one video chat with Haddish, where she will guide them through a complete account makeover.

Speaking about the partnership, Haddish said to Essence: “I’ve been dabbling with the app and I’ve had some of the best conversations. I’ve met some really, really smart and handsome guys on there. I also love Bumble because everybody’s verified. So there’s no catfishing.”

Her main piece of advice for online dating is to always be honest from the outset so everyone is on the same page about what the other person is looking for.

Bumble introduced live video and voice calls in July to help matches have real-life interactions before committing to exchanging personal information or meeting for a date.

It uses the video chat and voice call features as an added way to ensure Indian women feel safe while using the app, as security was one of their biggest concerns while using other dating platforms.

Elsewhere, Bumble’s Vice President of Strategy Priti Joshi has been speaking to Your Story about her journey with the social app and how her work helps to inspire women all around the world.

She explained that she was very proud to be a part of the team that oversaw the Indian launch and is continuing to lead all of the region’s marketing initiatives.
