Tinder Australia has signed on with a new digital media agency in Alley, a New South Wales-based company with previous clients including YETI, Netgear and Bethesda Game Studios.
The agency has secondary offices in Los Angeles, a short distance from Tinder’s West Hollywood headquarters.
The partnership comes after the dating brand appointed a new country manager, Kristen Hardeman, at the beginning of the year. Hardeman, herself a marketer, has previous experience at NSW agency ‘The Monkeys’.
Writing on LinkedIn, Alley CEO Nick Lavidge said: “I’m super excited to announce that Alley Group has been appointed Tinder’s digital media agency in Australia!
“I’m obsessed with how Tinder is looking to push boundaries and innovation, encouraging our team to bring to the table unconventional digital media strategies that are backed by our mobile experience and performance mindset.
“Really honoured to be working with such a trailblazing brand and team!”
In July, Tinder brought its Festival Mode to the North Byron Parklands in Australia with a ‘Block Party’ event at Splendour in the Grass.
Singles visiting the activation could win premium memberships, and dedicate songs to partners past and present.
