Tinder Brings School of Swipe to Thailand

Tinder is rolling out its crash course on online dating, named the School of Swipe, in Thailand. The platform provides guidance on how to navigate the Tinder app, how to manage a first date, and how to keep safe.

First launched in Singapore, School of Swipe aims to give singles a confidence boost as they enter the dating game. The resource is now available in Thai, Bahasa Indonesian, and Vietnamese.

Tinder research found that young singles in Thailand want to find long term relationships, however 55% of respondents said that they felt awkward making the first move. “School of Swipe has therefore been built as an easily accessible mobile-first wingmate”, shared Tech2Thai.

“Thailand is home to many young adult singles, and many of them being digital natives, are excited to connect with new people online. Yet, we’ve learnt from them that when they are faced with questions about dating, they are not quite sure where to go or who to speak to”, said Papri Dev, Vice President, Communications at Tinder.

“And that’s where Tinder, as the world’s largest dating app, comes in. With School of Swipe, we want to help young adult singles feel more confident in their dating journeys. The resource complements Tinder’s continuous in-app feature innovations and tutorials to make dating fun and safe for all young adult singles”, Dev continued
