TrueView Helping To Run Shoreditch Meetup About Modern World Of Dating Apps

TrueView Swipe Hype

TrueView is helping to organise a London-based meetup about the modern dating landscape and the world of dating apps.

The event is hosted by Bombom, the Content Producer at Creative Review magazine, and Lola Blackheart, the co-creator of the Evening Standard’s speed dating night Single Cylinders, and Events & Marketing Manager at Studio 7 Shoreditch and Acrylicize.

Held at Studio 7, the event will see speakers “discuss the sometimes exciting, sometimes exasperating world of dating apps.”

Speakers at the first episode include a “Tinderella” who travelled across the world to marry her match, poet and rapper Christian Foley, and the writer of short film Love Me Tinder, Alistair Donegan.

The Eventbrite description says: “Expect a judgement free environment designed to encourage debate, swap stories and try to make sense of contemporary dating culture.

“If you’re interested in tech and its impact on society or enjoy the twisted tales of Black Mirror, Catfish or Turned On, this one’s for you.

“If you’re an experienced swiper, dabble in dating or have never used the apps – but are itching to know what the fuss is about – come along!”

London dating startup TrueView is providing drinks on the night and a prize of Murdock or Cowshed vouchers worth £100.
