YouTube Is Producing A New Comedy Series About Tinder

YouTube

YouTube has signed-off on plans for a new eight-episode comedy series about dating in the Tinder age.

Called Swipe Right, the comedy series has been created by American Housewife star Carly Craig and Daniel Reisinger.

The show is being released by YouTube Red, the video company’s paid streaming subscription service, and will be executive produced by Craig, Reisinger, Jermey Garelick and Sam Anzel.

Craig will also star in the show, which is based on the true story of a woman who, after a recent break-up, decided to date all of her 252 Tinder matches.

Susanne Daniels, Global Head of Original Content of YouTube said: “We are excited to be in business with Carly Craig, Jeremy Garelick and Daniel Reisinger to create a comedy about dating anxiety in the social media age.

“We know our YouTube audience will fall in love with “Swipe Right,” a relatable, hilariously awkward but always honest portrayal of dating, relationships and adulthood(ish) from this talented female-led ensemble.”

The YouTube Red show is set to debut in 2018.
