Zoosk Add Interactive Tour For New Daters
Zoosk have introduced an interactive tour for new users, that walks them through the site and explains its various features.
The tour is for those unfamiliar with dating sites, or the Zoosk brand, by explaining the different ways they can discover, filter and communicate with other singles.
This includes Zoosk’s Carousel, which is a Tinder-style matching system, and how their Behavioral Matchmaking engine works, so singles understand how to use the site right off the bat, therefore increasing their chances of initial success, and user-satisfaction.
Zoosk’s CEO, Shayan Zadeh, said: “It can be daunting to enter the dating scene so we wanted to make the process of joining and meeting new people on Zoosk as easy as possible for everyone, regardless of their level of online dating experience.
“Our interactive tour offers an easy and enjoyable welcome to Zoosk and aids our matchmaking technology in its delivery of a personalized dating experience.”
Zoosk will roll the feature out on desktop and iOS initially, with Android coming soon.
Last month, Zoosk released a photo verification feature that lets users confirm the authenticity of their profile pictures.
It works by users uploading a short video selfie that captures their features from different angles, which is then verified by Zoosk’s moderators.
The San Francisco-based company also hired former EA executive Mike Riccio as their VP of Engineering.
