HeeSay’s HeeCares Campaign Brings Aid to Children in Need
HeeSay, an LGBTQ+ social and dating app formerly known as Blued, has wrapped up its latest charitable effort through the HeeCares campaign, marking a significant step in the platform’s social impact initiatives. This event, held in Bangkok, saw HeeSay supporting children at the Baan Nokkamin Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping children in need. The company donated over 50 servings of mixed ingredients and a variety of snacks, brightening the day for the children involved.
“We’re committed to making a positive social impact that extends beyond our inclusive community,” said the Market Head of HeeSay Thailand. “HeeCares was created to address diverse needs and support underprivileged groups worldwide through its digital content advantages.”
The HeeCares initiative distinguishes itself by integrating online and offline efforts, a strategy that sets it apart from traditional charity campaigns. During a period from February 24th to 28th, two popular voice chat rooms on HeeSay contributed to the donation by converting a portion of their tipping revenue into real currency. This revenue was then used to purchase the supplies, which were delivered to the children on March 14th.
This isn’t the first time that HeeSay has been involved in charity work, with HeeCares also having a notable impact on the recovery from Typhoon Yagi and a former collaboration with the Home for the Golden Gays organisation.
