Twitter Test In-App Analytics Tool
Twitter is testing a new tool that lets you easily see analytics for your tweets.
The feature, called “View Analytics Details”, was noticed by some users in the US.
The tool – picked up by The Verge – appears just below your own tweets, and shows you details about the tweet, like its reach and engagement.
The analytics information includes total impressions, total engagements and engagement rate.
It also lets you know how many people viewed a photo or video in your tweet, and the percentage of people who clicked to expand it.
The feature, which appeared to select Twitter users, is an experiment by the company – to see whether users want easy access to such analytics information.
It would certainly be a useful tool for checking analytics of your tweets while on the move, and how they perform throughout the day.
