Zoosk have joined Match.com and Tinder in releasing their dating app for a wearable device.
Today, Zoosk announced their service was available on Google’s smartwatch software, Android Wear.
The app will let users browse singles via Zoosk’s Tinder-style Carousel feature – which shows the age and name of potential matches.
Singles can then scroll through photos on the watch, and click to like or dismiss a profile.
And when they get a match, the bluetooth software connecting the smartphone and watch will push the alert to the screen of the wearable device.
Kelly Steckelberg, the new CEO of Zoosk, who recently spoke about the company’s eventful few months, said: “The Zoosk Android Wear app is designed to fit consumers’ everyday habits, empowering singles with even more choices for how they can discover love. Now, staying on top of matches and exploring connections is even more effortless and accessible for today’s always on-the-move singles.
“Zoosk’s Android Wear app is a natural, consumer-driven evolution of our technology. By closely observing how today’s consumers choose to stay connected, we identified an opportunity to enhance the dating experience with the rising adoption of wearable devices.”
Zoosk joins three IAC brands in being available for Android Wear – Tinder, Match.com and Meetic.
